In a press statement, property giant Megaworld disclosed that the its horizontal developments, such as villages, have performed strongly in the first few months of the year.

The company noted that in recent months, the company was able to sold out lots in four of its residential villages across Metro Manila, Ilocos Norte, Cavite, and Palawan.

It noted that that highlighted “sustained demand for its properties, including horizontal developments, within its master-planned townships across the country,” adding that the total sales revenues reached around PHP28 billion.

We continue to pursue our strategy of diversifying our residential portfolio to address the evolving needs and preferences of homebuyers and investors,” noted Lourdes Gutierrez-Alfonso, president and chief executive officer, Megaworld.

Among the villages with sold-out lots is the Embassy Hills in New Manila, Quezon City, which is the first project under Megaworld’s Luxe Collection — a premium portfolio catering to the ultra-high-end residential market.

This development features expansive lots, exclusive amenities, and a master-planned community designed that looks to provide privacy, exclusivity, and “elevated living experiences for discerning homeowners,” the company said.

Paragua Beach Village, which is located within the eco-tourism township of Paragua Coastown in San Vicente, Palawan, have itsbresidential lots inside the village designed for “modern island living in one of the country’s most promising tourism destinations,” according to Megaworld.

The village is also being strategically situated near the township’s future commercial and leisure components, including hotels, retail establishments, and wellness-oriented attractions.

Meanwhile, inside Megaworld’s Maple Grove township, the Maple Grove Park Village is the first residential village within the 22-hectare development and features 377 residential lots.

Designed by internationally renowned architectural and planning firm Wimberly, Allison, Tong & Goo (WATG), the village seeks to promote a “lifestyle centered on wellness, exclusivity, and nature-inspired living,” with lush parks, wellness gardens, water features, and a clubhouse with luxury spa resort-inspired amenities.

In Ilocos Norte, the Ilocandia Beach Village marks Megaworld’s entry into horizontal residential developments in the province, where the village is surrounded by the province’s renowned beaches and tourism destinations.

Among the amenities within the development is the soon-to-rise Ilocandia Beach Club along the township’s 1.4-kilometer pristine coastline, which will be Laoag City’s first and only beach club — drawing inspiration from the world-famous beach clubs on Sentosa Island in Singapore.

Beyond our condominium developments, we remain focused on expanding our horizontal residential offerings, which continue to generate strong market interest across our townships not only in Metro Manila but also in key growth areas in the provinces,” continued Gutierrez.

This June, Megaworld also marks its 37th year in Philippine real estate and coincidentally, it has 37 townships across the country spanning more than 7,000 hectares of land across the three major island groups.

Overall, Megaworld has a total of 800 residential developments spread across the country, and remains to be the largest office landlord and largest hotel operator in terms of room keys in the Philippines.

The sustained demand for these developments reflects the strength of our township model and reinforces our confidence in the long-term growth potential of our master-planned communities nationwide,” the executive furthered.
