It is an all-star event for a common cause.
Through her social media accounts, popstar Olivia Rodrigo officially announced the staging of a special all-women music festival.
Called the Daisy Chain Fields, the 23-year-old singer has gathered a powerful lineup comprising the likes of herself, Chappell Roan, Doechii, KATSEYE, Bikini Kill, Divine Spitz, Eli, Garbage, Mitski, Not For Radio, Quiet Light, Rachel Chinouriri, Santiagold, and The Breeders.
Also named special guests are Karen O, Sarah McLachlan, and Stevie Nicks, with the show set to happen at the Great Park in Irvine, California on August 29, 2026.
In the caption of her post, Olivia shared, “truly never felt more excited to share a piece of news with you all.“
She revealed that she once dreamed of setting up the festival dor years and told, “i am so ecstatic its finally coming true!!“
According to her, the net proceeds from the Daisy Chain Fields will 100 percent go to charities dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls.
“[T]he lineup is truly insane and full of my heroes and friends. i firmly believe that joy, community, and music can be the drivers of meaningful change and I’m hopeful this festival will be just that,” she added.
Last June 12, Olivia released her latest album entitled you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, which features 13 songs such as Drop Dead, which was unveiled last April, The Cure—that was issued last Tuesday, June 9, and Stupid Song.
The said album was also hailed by music streaming platform Spotify as the most-streamed album of any female artist in 2026 so far.
