It was his first time to be with most of his former bandmates in nearly 7 years.
In a post on his Instagram account, actor Hur Hyunjun shared his heartwarming reunion with the Korean pop boy band THE BOYZ.
Formerly an idol, the 26-year-old Korean star was part of the original 12-member lineup of the group, where he took on the stage name Hwall, since their debut in 2017 until his departure in 2019 due to health reasons.
In his post, Hur shared clip that he took during his ex-teammates’ concert in Seoul, South Korea. In addition, he also went all the way to the backstage, where he took photos with each of the members.
He was seen posing alongside Hyunjae, Eric, Juyeon, Younghoon, Q, Kevin, and Jacob.
In the caption, as translated, Hyunjun shared: Seeing THE BOYZ for the first time in 7 years. Watching the performance from the audience seats, I think the fans who have stayed with the group for such a long time are truly amazing. I learned and felt so much while watching them on stage.”
He continued, “I will work even harder too and I sincerely hope that every moment ahead shines even brighter (for them).”
The actor then quipped, “By the way, where did Kim Sun-woo disappear to like a raccoon? He didn’t even take a picture.”
While they did not take a photo together at that time, Hyunjun had actually taken one with Sunwoo, together with Eric, previously, which he also shared on his social media account—where it has already amassed over 218,000 likes as of this writing.
THE BOYZ is known for their singles such as Boy, No Air, Bloom Bloom, DDD, The Stealer, Maverick, Thrill Ride, Whisper, Roar, Lip Gloss, and Watch It.
Meanwhile, since transitioning to acting, Hur Hyunjun has starred in a number of projects over the years, such as the boys’ love (BL) series Color Rush and the KBS drama My Girlfriend Is The Man.
