Following the live announcement of actor-director-producer Coco Martin regarding his much-anticipated comeback series with on- and off-screen partner Julia Montes, as well as the statement from ABS-CBN on the broadcast of Sigabo on TV5, another show was also revealed to be making an expansion later in the month.

Starting June 29, the morning talk show Face To Face With Ate Koring, which is hosted by seasoned journalist Korina Sanchez-Roxas, will also become available on ABS-CBN platforms.

The entry of the said TV5 program to ABS-CBN’s Umaganda block will mark the first time that am original production of the Kapatid network would be seen across Kapamilya platforms.

It would also bring in fresh programming back to the said programming block, which has largely been filled with reruns since 2024, with the stoppage in the production of new episodes for the longest-running Kapamilya morning talk show Magandang Buhay — whose fate remains hanging on a balance amidst the impending shift.

Moreover, this will also be the second show of Sanchez-Roxas on Kapamilya platforms, where her eponymous weekly magazine program Rated Korina also air every Sunday afternoon.

TV5 President and Chief Executive Officer, Guido Zaballero, said on the renewed link with ABS-CBN, “This initiative provides Filipinos, both Kapatid and Kapamilya, with more platforms to enjoy quality stories and experiences.”

Sa pagdating ng Coco Martin’s Sigabo sa TV5, at sa paglawak ng reach ng Face to Face with Ate Koring, mas maraming Pilipino ang makakapag-enjoy sa mga programang nagbibigay-aliw at inspirasyon,” he added.

In the same statement, TV5 also said that the collaboration “expands distribution to give viewers more choices, bringing a wider variety of dramas, public service programs, and real-life stories directly to Filipino families,” wherever they may be.

Furthermore, it also pointed out that both media organizations are focused on “creating meaningful connections with audiences through stories that inform, entertain, and bring Filipinos together.

The revival of the partnership between ABS-CBN and TV5 comes five months after the termination of their earlier content supply deal last January following a publicized rift the month prior.
