With the goal of promoting in the “Land of the Rising Sun.”
On Thursday, July 23, Cornerstone Entertainment and PIA Corporation announced that the five-member P-pop group VXON has inked an exclusive contract with PIA for their promotions in Japan.
Composed of C13, Sam, Franz, Vince, and Patrick, the band is known as the Monsters of P-Pop and are known for their powerful vocals and dance performances, as well as self-producing abilities as the members are capable of handling songwriting and vocal arrangements to video editing and acrobatic stage productions on their own.
In a press statement, PIA told, “They (VXON) are already preparing a variety of projects aimed at the Japanese market,” highlighting the upcoming September issue of SODA magazine, which is published and distributed by PIA Corporation. Aside from their latest photos, there is also an exclusive Q&A with the members.
In addition, Pia Music WEB has also published a report on their solo concert, Kalawakan: The Evolution, which was held last June.
“Through this agreement, PIA aims to support VXON in expanding its recognition and creating opportunities for activities within Japan, and to become a new bridge connecting the entertainment markets of Japan and the Philippines,” the company further shared.
PIA also noted that the announcement coincides with the 70th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic ties between the Philippines and Japan after the Second World War.
Some of VXON’s singles over the years include The Beast, Fiyaah, SSP (Saksak Sa Puso), MHWG, Tabi Tabi, Sh*t Sobrang Init, and Dapat Lang Ako Lang.
