Korean actors Song Kang, Lee Jun Young star in ‘Four Hands, Two Sonatas’

On August 29, the new series, Four Hands, Two Sonatas will make its premiere on streaming giant Netflix.

According to the platform, the program that is topbilled by Korean actors Song Kang and Lee Jun Young will see their characters get “intertwined through their shared passion for the keys, navigating the tumultuous waters of friendship, rivalry, and growth.”

The said series is set at an elite arts high school for musical prodigies and will folow their characters Kang Pi-o (Song Kang), who is described as an “elite, prodigal pianist who has spent his life on a steady path to perfection,” and Choi Jeong-yo, “a late-blooming talent who pursues his dream of playing the piano despite a difficult and turbulent childhood.”

The teaser trailer issued recently shows the  first glimpse into the musical rivalry and complex dynamic between the two.

As they constantly clash and challenge one another on the keys, they find themselves pushing each other to new artistic heights, raising anticipation for how their shared journey of personal and professional growth will unfold,” Netflix further shared.
