The pandemic habit of many foodies is back with new flavors to discover.
Last June 24, the Front-Seat Foodies channel of celebrity couple Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos was officially relaunched with the release of its first episode in almost five years.
The said comeback episode saw the two dine around San Juan City to try out three dining spots in what could be an underrated gastronomy city.
In the description tab of the video, they shared: “Front-Seat Foodies is a passion project that we started out of our love for food!! Join us as we go on road trips to the newest and greatest food spots in the Philippines!“
In tandem with the relaunch, Gabbi and Khalil also went all-in on production as they created a music video introduction and performed a mew version of the channel’s official theme song.
It was back in 2021 when the channel was launched at the height of the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions in Metro Manila.
At that time, there was virtually no restaurant offering a dine-in option due to health protocols that were implemented at that time, leading to both Gabbi and Khalil utilizing their own vehicle as their dining spot.
It was a moderate online hit, with some episodes crossing over 600,000 views mark. It has also gained a loyal following, who have expressed excitement for this comeback on the FSF social media handles.
Meanwhile, this is yet another side quest for the two Kapuso stars, who are also actively pursuing different endeavors in showbusiness.
Gabbi was recently seen in the telefantasya Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre as Alena, as well as host in the reality show Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.
Meanwhile, Khalil was confirmed to be part of the upcoming ABS-CBN and GMA collaboration series Honor Thy Mother with Barbie Forteza, Sharon Cuneta, and John Estrada. He will also join Forteza in the new Regal comedy movie Saving Cherry.
