It scored a chart-topping debut performance on streaming platform iWant.
According to ABS-CBN, the latest vertical microdrama series Will You Fake Marry Me, which is top-billed by the pair of JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith, collectively known as JMFyang, has logged major viewership across platforms.
The series’ Part 1 made its premiere last Tuesday, June 30 and to date, it has become a hit as its first five episodes, now streaming for free on iWant and ABS-CBN’s official Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube accounts, drew over 31 million accumulated views as of date.
Directed by Jojo Saguin, the series, according to ABS-CBN, follows the tocino promoter June (Fyang) who is set set to inherit a vast fortune from a distant family patriarch—on one condition: she has to marry his godchild and the CEO of the very tocino brand she represents, Ping (JM).
The story will then follow them as they agree to a do a fake engagement, but also prove their love is legally real as their genuine feelings begin to spark.
The first part of Will You Fake Marry Me? is already out on iWant, while the remaining episodes in Part 2 starting July 15.
Episodes 6 to 30 are streaming exclusively on iWant, starting at PHP 35 per month in the Philippines, USD 12.99 per month in the United States, and USD 4.99 per month for the rest of the world.
Will You Fake Marry Me? is the latest addition to iWant’s vertical drama lineup, which include the other hit series, The Chambermaid’s Daughter, which will get its second season soon, and Twist of Fate.
This also marks JM and Fyang’s return to the Kapamilya streaming platform following their successful digital series Ghosting, which ran from July to December 2025. Notably, it served as one of the banner shows of the platform for its rebrand that took place that year.
Since then, the two — who were first seen as housemates in Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 in 2024, which was ultimately won by Fyang — have worked on other projects, such as their participation in Shake, Rattle, and Roll Evil Origins for the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).
They are also part of the Prime Video series Love Is Never Gone, which is top-billed by Joshua Garcia and Ivana Alawi.
