The network has officially rolled out its new logo on television.

On Thursday, July 18, GMA Network made a minor update with its on-air look. The Kapuso network officially retired its 3D logo, which had been in use as an on-screen bug since 2011.

Entering service is the revamped GMA logo that debuted alongside the ‘Isa Sa Puso Ng Pilipino’ campaign, which was launched by the station in late June 2024 — ahead of its 75th anniversary next year.

The first program where the minor tweak was seen was in the morning show ‘Unang Hirit,’ with the subsequent programs following suit.

However, despite the implementation of the change on free-to-air TV, the network’s web-based channel Kapuso Stream continued to make use of the 2011 version as its on-screen bug (OSB) in the interim.

Prior to Thursday, the 2024 version had already begun to be utilized by GMA for some of its episode teasers and network plugs. Case in point is this greeting for winners of the 7th Entertainment Editors’ Choice Awards.

The original version of the Kapuso logo made its debut on October 27, 2002 after GMA decided to retire its 1998 Rainbow logo and the long-running ‘Where You Belong’ tagline that began in the 1970s.
