It has achieved the distinction of being the biggest “and baddest” Pride Month event in Asia.
In a post on its social media pages, Pride PH, the lead organizers behind the recent LoveLab4n Pride PH Festival event on Saturday, June 27, announced a major feat they have achieved.
In the said post, the organizers revealed that the event drew over 561,000 particpants throughout its multiple sites scattered around Metro Manila, other parts of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
“Grabe ang pasabog ng pagmamahal at paninindigan! Isang nag-aalab na pasasalamat sa lahat ng naki-rampa, naki-martsa, at naki-saya sa LOVELAB4N. Sabay-sabay nating ipinakita ang lakas ng pag-galaw nang sama-sama at patuloy na binigyang-buhay ang ating pambansang rampa!” the caption of the post read.
The organizers also thanked their partner organizations, which led local Pride events in other parts of the country.
Meanwhile, out of the estimated crowd attendance figure, the organizers revaled that the main event at the University of the Philippines-Diliman in Quezon City drew over 300,000 participants.
“Dahil sa inyong walang katulad na suporta at tapang, na-achieve natin ang biggest and baddest Pride event in Asia!” they also revealed.
The Diliman event had multiple activities throughout the day, such as the Pride March, where they went around the 5-kilomter route from the UP Diliman Oval to Commonwealth Avenue and back to the University Avenue.
Throughout the day, performances were also staged by different guests, with the list led by the likes of OPM hitmaker Maki, singers Klarisse de Guzman, Angela Ken, Fana, Macky Empuerto, and Enzo Almario, drag queens Taylor Sheesh, Viñas Deluxe, Arizona Brandy, Sofia Trazona, P-pop groups Neo, Xcegon, Sugar ‘N Spice, and beauty queens Miss Universe 2023 Top 10 Finisher Michelle Dee and Miss Philippines Earth 2025 Joy Barcoma.
The event was also hosted by a team comprising DJ Jhai Ho, Nicole Cordoves, and Baileys Acot, among others.
