This earned him a place in the Top 1.7% percentile of the said leg of the physical challenge.
Last Saturday, June 27, Kapuso actor-model David Licauco, shared his latest participation in the multi-country HYROX indoor fitness competition.
The Pambansang Ginoo, who recently celebrated his 32nd birthday, shared his latest milestone in the competition held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
In his image carousel on Instagram, where he uploaded snapshots from the said activity, he revealed that he clocked in a total of 1:07:38 (one hour, seven minutes, and thirty-eight seconds), with the breakdown of his time being 31:31 in running, 30:02 in functional exercises, and 6:04 in the Rox Zone.
That feat allowed him to finish in 28th place out of the 1655 participants in Jakarta, which allowed him to be in the Top 1.7% percentile.
According to his coach, Miguel Aytona, it is an improvement from his performance in the Taipei race last April, where he ended 53rd out of 1194.
“Higher placing, bigger field, harder course. Even gabbrosario (our PH Hyrox GOAT) and a bunch of competitors I spoke to that day all agreed.. Jakarta was the tougher track,” Aytona said in an Instagram story, where he shared David’s stats.
“Ranking higher, against more people, on a harder course tells you exactly where his fitness is heading. The clock looked similar to Taipei. The performance was a level up,” he noted.
The coach also shared that in Taipei, David stopped three times to stand still to drink, and had slower runs.
However, in Jakarta, he showed a major improvement with zero pauses, and drank on the move through every water station — giving him llight improvement on stations.
