On Wednesday, July 1, ABS-CBN Studios and Dreamscape Entertainment jointly unveiled the official teaser of the upcoming primetime series starring three of the country’s premier stars.
Someone, Someday, which is top-billed by the trio of Kathryn Bernardo, James Reid, and Maja Salvador, dropped its 90-second preview during Coco Martin’s Sigabo, giving viewers a little more regarding the story.
The said clip revolves around the character of Kathryn, who is described as “the best ate (elder sister),” “the best boss,” and “the best friend.”
While her life is seemingly perfect, she is also an ordinary person who has her temper and her own set of beliefs.
A glimpse of the characters of James and Maja, as well as their respective roles in the life of the Kathryn’s character was also included in the teaser.
Someone, Someday is a major comeback series as it is the first teleserye of its three lead stars in years.
It is the first primetime series of James in over 9 years following Till I Met You in 2017, while it is the first full-length drama of Maja since The Killer Bride in 2019 and her next series a short stint in The Iron Heart in 2022. As for Kathryn, it is her first since 2 Good 2 Be True, which also aired 2022.
Other cast members in the show include Dimples Romana, Rowell Santiago, Rita Avila, Matt Evans, Mccoy De Leon, Daniela Stranner, Gela Atayde, and Karylle, among others.
Meanwhile, in the said teaser, it was also confirmed that Someone, Someday will make its primetime premiere on Monday, July 27 on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, A2Z, TV5, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube and Facebook, and iWant, as well as TFC for viewers abroad.
It will also stream 72 hours in advance or beginning July 24 (Friday) on Netflix.
Regarding its timeslot, it is yet to be officially announced as of this writing, but it has been previously reported to be launching on the second slot or at 8:45 pm, right after Coco Martin’s Sigabo.
