Their paths have crossed once again.
Last May 26 and 27, Icelandic-Chinese singer-songwriter Laufey held her back-to-back concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, which is part of the Asia, Australia, and New Zealand leg of her ongoing A Matter Of Time Tour.
The two-night show marked Laufey’s return to the Philippines after last visiting as part of her Bewitched: The Goddess Tour in September 2024 and saw her perform songs like Falling Behind, Too Little Too Late, and From The Start, among others.
But on her second night, she delivered a major suprise for her fans when the Nation’s Girl Group BINI appeared and joined her on stage.
The eight members paired up with each other as they sang parts of From The Start, with Mikha singing with Aiah, Maloi joining forces Jhoanna, Colet teaming up with Stacey, and Sheena performing with Gwen.
In addition, Maloi, who celebrated her 24th birthday, also received a signed vinyl as a special gift from Laufey.
In addition, the stars have also gone on to do a short video, which was uploaded on social media following the concert.
Prior to this, their paths crossed at the recent Billboard Women In Music last April, where BINI members recommended must-try Filipino food to Laufey.
Meanwhile, also included as stops in the Grammy Award-winning musician’s A Matter Of Time are Hong Kong, Taipei, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Seoul, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, and Auckland.
