Another chapter in her fashion career.
In a post on her Instagram account, Miss Universe 2022 R’Bonney Gabriel Nola made a major announcement to her over 1 million followers on the platform.
This, as the Filipina-American beauty queen, model, and fashion designer furthers her journey in the industry by joining the 22nd season of the reality show Project Runway.
“HELLO [Project Runway] SEASON 22!!” she opened her post.
“From 16 years of sewing, and sooo many hours of watching Project Runway, I thought it was time to enter the workroom,” she continued. “Design has been my passion since I was young, and it’s a dream come true to join this season.”
This season, R’Bonney is set to compete against 21 other participants for the chance of succeeding Filipina fashion designer Veejay Floresca as the champion of the reality program.
Hosted by Heidi Klum, she is back also as judge alongside Law Roach and Nina Garcia, while season 4 winner Christian Siriano serves as mentor.
The premiere telecast will take place on July 9, 2026 via the American cable channel Freeform as well as Hulu and Disney+.
