Starting the year with a song that features the theme of transformation.
On Thursday, January 1, The Nation’s Girl Group BINI released the official music video for their single entitled Paruparo, which is track from their FLAMES album that was issued last November.
The over three-minute-long video showed guest artists led by Miss Grand International 2025 Emma Tiglao, the Divine Divas drag queens Viñas Deluxe, Precious Paula Nicole and Brigiding, with Blooms, Asiel Jeheil Magsino, Daniza Verdadero, and Erwin Jake Yjan.
The said song, according to the official description provided by their label Star Music is an “anthem of growth, transformation, and freedom.”
“It shows the journey of life through the metaphor of a butterfly learning to fly; starting through the cocoon of struggles and uncertainty then, by keeping faith, slowly gaining their beautiful wings of confidence, strength, and purpose and finally, soaring freely through the sky of their fulfilled dreams,” the company added.
Through the song, the girl group also hopes to inspire listeners to overcome their fears and doubts, to never give up on their hopes and ambitions, and to “trust the process,” believing in the beauty of who they were always meant to be.
Aside from Paruparo, also part of the FLAMES album are the songs Sweet Tooth, Bikini, Katabi, and Infinity.
2026 is proving to be an huge year for the 8-member group, composed of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena, as they are set to headline the Coachella Music Festival this April.
