The late-night comedy talk show comes to an end after almost 9 years on air.
On Sunday, February 23, 2020, ABS-CBN’s Gandang Gabi, Vice is expected to officially bow out. As of press time, no official statement or announcement has been made by the network or even from Vice himself. However, teaser plugs for its rumored replacement has started airing on Channel 2 and its social media accounts.

Titled as ‘Everybody Sing’, it is said to be the first community singing contest on Philippine TV. For Vice, it won’t be a sad news either. He has already been announced to be the host of the said program.

Everybody is expected to air beginning March 1. But, the timeslot is yet to be determined.
If Everybody Sing was to replace GGV on its current timeslot, it would be pitted against GMA’s Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho. KMJS is currently the queen of Sunday primetime and has delivered dividends for its network.
Nevertheless, next Sunday will signal an end of an era in Kapamilya network’s Sunday late-night lineup. A well-needed overhaul since it has been forever since the last time it was tweaked.
So long, GGV.
