The two kings of Philippine primetime TV are set to do a one-of-a-kind collaboration.
In a post on his Instagram account, Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes shared a special moment he had during a meeting that was held on Sunday, July 19.
The lead star of the ongoing GMA series The Master Cutter had meeting with his “archrival” Coco Martin, who top-bills Sigabo on ABS-CBN.
Instantly, Dingdong had already made it clear that him and Coco are aligning themselves for a common industry agenda.
He wrote, “Magkaiba man ang programa, iisa lang ang layunin: pagmamahal at pagpapalakas ng ating industriya.”
“Isang magandang Sunday meeting, may kasamang masayang kwentuhan at makabuluhang palitan ng mga ideya, para pag-usapan ang isa na namang proyektong ilulunsad ng AKTOR sa ilalim ng pamumuno ng ating kapwa AKTOR member na si Coco Martin. Soon,” Dantes added.
He also thanked Coco for doing this project with AKTOR for their fellow actors.
The said meeting comes after their paths previously crossed during an event of the organization that was held last May.
During which, Coco was formally introduced as a member of the actors’ union and was first announced to be spearheading a new program, which remains to he unspecified.
At present, the two are locked in a friendly battle on primetime television, with The Master Cutter currently leading the TV ratings game (according to Nielsen Television Audience Measurement).
Meanwhile, Coco Martin’s Sigabo is drawing hundreds of thousands viewers on Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube each weeknight.
