She is one of the Filipinas competing in the said pageant.
On Saturday, May 16, beauty queen-actress Gazini Ganados was greeted m by her fans who came all the way to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 in Parañaque City.
Together, they gave the 30-year-old personality a beautiful send off as she jets off to Bangkok, Thailand on the same day for a special activity.
The Kapuso star, who was recently seen as Celebes in the fantasy drama series Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre, will be competing in the first ever MGI All-Stars pageant, a spin-off of Miss Grand International.
“She is poetry wrapped in a rmor, carrying a warrior’s heart, strength in faith, and fire within her soul,” read the caption of Ganados’ video of her send-off.
Prior to this, Gazini released this week her introduction video as one of the candidates.
There, she embraced her being a person of dual heritage, proudly showing to the world her being Filipino-Palestinian.
She also said that she “a woman not divided by heritage, but empowered by it.”
In 2019, Gazini was crowned Miss Universe Philippines, becoming the last contestant to be bestowed the title under Binibining Pilipinas, which relinquished the national franchise the following year.
She then competed in the 68th Miss Universe pageant that was held in South Africa, where she ended her journey in the Top 20.
The first-ever MGI All-Stars, meanwhile, will be held in Bangkok, Thailand on May 30, 2026.
Meanwhile, other Filipina queens who will join the first edition are Fuschia Anne Ravena, Alexia Nuñez, Keylyn Trajano, and Imelda Schweighart.
