At the recent CEAP Cine Expo 2026, local production company CreaZion Studios officially announced the upcoming horror movie entitled Knock Three Tiimes.

This film is set to be directed by Jerrold Tarog, who is behind films like The Healing, Pagpag, Aswang, and several episodes of the Shake, Rattle, And Roll franchise, and created by Real Florido.

Leading the movie are two of the country’s award-winning seasoned actors Charo Santos-Concio and Christopher de Leon—who are reunited after starring together in FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, which ended its run last March.

Also announced to be joining the project is Julia Barretto, who returns to cinema after starring in the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Hold Me Close and the blockbuster Un/Happy For You with Joshua Garcia.

Tony Labrusca, who is fresh from the controversial movie Dreamboi, is also part of the cast.

According to a report by industry trade publication Variety, the film will follow a young woman, who had just returned from the rehab, discovers her mother has fallen under the influence of a malevolent antique mirror.

The story draws from Filipino urban folklore, specifically a childhood ritual involving mirrors, candles and three knocks that serves as the narrative’s foundation,” it added.

In the said report, CreaZion Studios President and CEO Anter “RJ” Agustin said, “This casting marks an exciting step forward for ‘Knock Three Times’ as we bring together an exceptional team of artists.”

At CreaZion, we are committed to championing bold, filmmaker-driven works that elevate Southeast Asian storytelling – stories that are deeply rooted in our culture yet resonate far beyond our borders,” he added.
