Thai boyband BUS cancels ‘The First Light’ fan-con in Manila

The said event will no longer take place due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

In a message issued on Thursday, April 30, concert promoter Live Nation Philippines announce the cancelation of the upcoming concert of the Thai boyband BUS in the country.

“We regret to inform you that BUS THE 1ST ASIA FANCON TOUR: THE FIRST LIGHT, originally scheduled for May 24, 2026 at New Frontier Theater, will no longer proceed due to unforeseen circumstances affecting this stop,” wrote the company in its social media post.

It then disclosed that tickets that were purchased online will be automatically refunded.

As for over-the-counter purchases, ticketholders must present the physical ticket at the Ticketnet Box Office at Smart Araneta Coliseum starting May 13.

For refund inquiries, they are also directed to contact Ticketnet at (02) 8911-5555 or email info@ticketnet.com.ph.

“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. The tour will continue in other cities, where tickets remain available,” furthered the company.

BUS was formed through the Thai reality-survival competition 789 Survival that aired in 2023 on local television channel One 31.

It is composed of members Alan Pasawee Sriarunotai, Marckris Kanchanatip, Khunpol Pongpol Panyamit, Heart Chuthiwat Jankane, Kim Jin Wook, Thai Chayanon Phakthin, Nex Nattakit Chaemdara, Phutatchai Thatchai Limpanyakul, Copper Dechawat Phondechaphiphat, AA Achirakorn Suvitayasatian, Jungt T Boonsermsuwong, and Peemwasu Wasupon Pornpananurak.

They made their debut with their eponymous single track Because of You, I Shine in 2023, which was followed by songs like Watch Your Step, LiarTransformer, and Happily Missing You.

In 2025, they released the tracks like Boss In The Building, BB, and Stars, and recently, just last January, they dropped the song So Blue.
