She will be representing the country in the upcoming edition of the international pageant.
On Thursday, October 23, a send-off party was organized by the Miss Universe Philippines Organization for reigning national titleholder Ahtisa Manalo.
The 28-year-old queen, who hails from Quezon Province, will represent the country in the upcoming 74th edition of the Miss Universe pageant, which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand this November.
During the event, which was attended by members of the press, Manalo was also given a warm despedida by her fellow queens, including her batchmates Katrina Llegado (Miss Supranational Philippines 2025) and Gabriella Carballo (Miss Eco International Philippines 2025), as well as reigning Miss Eco International Alexie Brooks.
Also there were former MUPH executive director and Miss Universe 2011 3rd runner-up Shamcey Supsup and her successor, Miss Universe 2013 3rd runner-up Ariella Arida.
Manalo is not a stranger to the international pageantry scene.
In 2018, she represented the Philippines to the Miss International and took home the first runner-up title.
After six years, she returned to the scene when she joined Miss Universe Philippines 2024 and placed 2nd runner-up.
She then became the first Miss Cosmo Philippines and competed in Vietnam that same year and ended her stint with a Top 10 finish.
Manalo, this time around, will be looking to get the country’s next Miss Universe crown, which was last won by Catriona Gray in 2018.
