P-pop’s queens of summer are back with a new anthem.
On Thursday, April 9, Filipina girl group BINI dropped their latest extended play (EP) entitled Signals, which is their follow-up to FLAMES that was issued last November.
Included in the newly-released mini-album is the song Blush, which is described by ABS-CBN Star Music as “an anthem for a summer-crush about that heart-racing feeling when someone special walks in the room.”
“It’s playful, bright, and instantly addictive. It’s the sound of butterflies in song form,” they added.
The track, per the label, blends breezy pop energy with feel-good rhythm, which wraps up the joy, tension, and euphoria “when your crush looks at you, and you just can’t help but blush back.”
Alongside the EP, the music video was also published on the same day, with views steadily increasing in the thousands as of this writing.
Alongside Blush, also part of the extended play are the pre-release singles Unang Kilig and Honey Honey, as well as Tic Tac Toe, Sugar Rush, and Step Back.
This is one of the major activities lined up for the girls this week, with the other being their much-anticipated debut at the Coachella Music Festival that will happen on Saturday morning (April 11, Manila time).
Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena will be mounting their set on the Mojave stage of the festival from 7:15 to 8:00 am (Manila time).
To coincide with their historic debut at the said music festival, the ABS-CBN News-produced documentary series featuring the band, which originally launched on iWantTFC in 2024, will be screening on Netflix beginning Friday, April 10.
