Last Friday, August 8, Korean actor Hyun Bin held his first fan meeting in the Philippines at the Solaire Entertainment Resort in Parañaque City.
The show, which was hosted by Kapamilya OPM icon Martin Nievera, was attended by many of the Hallyu star’s fans in the country.
Among them was ABS-CBN company director and ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ star Charo Santos-Concio, who did not only watch Hyun Bin, but also had a moment to go up close and personal with him.
In an Instagram post, CSC shared a photo that they took together and wrote in the caption, “Crash landed… right into my oppa’s smile.”
The post, which has already amassed more than 40,000 likes as of writing, has gained comments from many personalities.
One of them is Jolina Magdangal, who asked if the actor was “mabango” (“smells nice”), which Charo responded to on an affirmative note, writing “Super!”
Hyun Bin debuted as an actor in 2003 and has starred in multiple hit Korean dramas over the years, led by the likes of ‘My Name Is Kim Sam Soon,’ ‘Secret Garden,’ ‘Hyde, Jekyll, and Me,’ and ‘Memories of Alhambra.’
In 2020, he portrayed Ri Jeong-hyeok in the widely-acclaimed series ‘Crash Landing On You,’ where he was paired with his now-wife, actress Son Ye Jin.
Hyun Bin is set to star in the upcoming Disney+ series ‘Made In Korea’.
Meanwhile, Charo Santos is currently seen as Tindeng in the top-rating primetime series ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ and recently returned as host for Asia’s longest-running drama anthology show, ‘Maalaala Mo Kaya’.
