‘Saving Grace’ bags nominations at Seoul International Drama Awards 2025

The top-trending melodrama was recognized overseas.

Through a post on its social media pages, ABS-CBN production unit Dreamscape Entertainment announce the latest feat achieved by the series ‘Saving Grace.’

The drama, top-billed by Julia Montes, Sharon Cuneta, and Zia Grace is the 10th adaptation of the Japanese series ‘Mother,’ which was first broadcast by Nippon TV in April 2010 and starred Yasuko Mastuyuki.

The adaptation—which streamed first on Prime Video in November 2024 before airing on TV in March—is nominated for the Best Series category.

Its writer Danica Mae Domingo was also named as one of the nominees for Best Screenwriter.

We’re thrilled to share that Saving Grace has been nominated for Best Series and Best Screenwriter at the Seoul International Drama Awards 2025,” the group wrote in the caption.

It continued, “A heartfelt thank you to the Seoul International Drama Awards for honoring our work on the global stage. These nominations are a testament to the incredible talent, heart, and commitment of the entire Saving Grace team.”

These are yet another milestones for the show as earlier in the week, it was also announced as part of the nominees for ContentAsia Awards 2025.

Lead child star Zia Grace was included in the Best Supporting Actress in a TV Programme/Series Made in Asia category, while ‘Saving Grace’ is in the running for Best TV Format Adaptation (Scripted) in Asia.

Meanwhile, the Seoul International Drama Awards 2025 will be held in South Korea on October 2.

Also part of those that will be recognized in the ceremony is Kapamilya actor Daniel Padilla, who was recently hailed as the Outstanding Asian Star his work in the top-rated primetime action series ‘Incognito’.
