He shared his journey to getting one through a social media post celebrating this achievement.
Pn his Instagram account, Thai actor Billkin-Putthipong Assaratanakul uploaded photos of him in his graduation gown, as well as snippet of him receiving his diploma from the University College London (UCL).
The 26-year-old shared in the caption his journey to reaching this milestone and wrote: “Two years ago, I made the decision to come here, and I just want to thank myself for taking that leap.“
He recalled, “It was never an easy choice – chasing both my own dreams and my parents’ dreams, stepping into a completely new chapter of life, and leaving many opportunities behind to start over somewhere unfamiliar.“
But looking back now, he said, he doesn not regret any part of it.
“This journey has given me some of the most meaningful memories of my life. I’ve strengthened bonds with people I love, reconnected with old friends, and met so many new ones along the way,” wrote Billkin.
“Being surrounded by classmates from all around the world also opened my eyes to perspectives and experiences I would never have discovered otherwise.“
He also said that he will always remember how this educational journey had pushed him out of his comfort zone, thousand of miles from his home in Thailand.
“Most importantly, I just want to remember that, once in my lifetime, I was here – pushing myself out of my comfort zone, growing through it all, and creating memories I’ll carry in my heart forever,” he said before giving “cheers” to this unforgettable chapter of his life.
Billkin made his debut in the entertainment industry in 2016 and has since starred in numerous TV shows and movies, including his projects with on-screen boys’ love (BL) partner PP Krit such as My Ambulance, I Told The Sunset About You, I Promised You To The Moon, and The Red Envelope.
The actor was also part of the critically acclaimed drama movie How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies, which became Thailand’s entry to the Academy Awards’ Best International Feature Film category in 2025.
