From being castmates in a reality show, they will soon bring their tandem to world of fiction.

On Tuesday, May 20, ABS-CBN Studios and soon-to-be relaunched streaming service iWant officially introduced the project starring one of the network’s up-and-coming love teams.

Fyang Smith and JM Ibarra, dubbed as ‘JMFyang,’ will top-bill the original digital series titled ‘Ghosting‘.

According to the creators, the series will follow a feisty student (Smith) who will find retreat in her grandmother’s quiet provincial home after being ghosted, where she will fall for a mysterious probinsyano (Ibarra)—who turns out to be a restless soul.

What begins as a classic story of moving on transforms into an unforgettable romance that reaches beyond the boundaries of life and death,” they added.

Ghosting‘ is under the direction of Theodore Boborol, who comes fresh from the success of ‘Ang Mutya Ng Section E‘ on rival streaming platform, Viva One.

Joining Fyang and JM in the cast are veteran actresses Ruby Ruiz and Ces Quesada, along with Vivoree, Kobie Brown, and Gello Marquez.

The online original series will exclusively become available on ABS-CBN’s own streaming service, which in turn will be relaunched as iWant with a sleeker and user-friendly interface come July 2025.

Ghosting‘ is touted as one of the flagship titles for the forthcoming rebrand, alongside the already announced ‘Love At First Spike‘, that will set the tonal direction in the original content produced by the platform.
