The biggest rookie boy group of 2024 has stepped into a new era.
On Monday, April 21, Korean pop boy group TWS released their third extended play, titled ‘Try With Us,’ which sees them navigate life as young adults.
The said theme is also what the EP’s lead single ‘Countdown’ tackles, with the music video showing the members as they try to figure out the world as they enter their early 20s.
Within two hours of its upload, the MV has already garnered over 150,000 views on video-sharing platform YouTube.
Apart from ‘Countdown,’ also part of the new ‘Try With Us’ EP are five other tracks, namely ‘Lucky To Be Loved,’ ‘Random Play,’ ‘Freestyle,’ ‘Now Playing,’ and ‘Go Back.’
TWS is a band under the Korean management company Pledis Entertainment, which is home to the highly-acclaimed boy group SEVENTEEN.
The fifth-generation team is composed of members Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin.
They made their debut back in January 2024 with their chart-topping debut single ‘Plot Twist,’ which is under their first-ever EP, ‘Sparkling Blue.’
After which, they issued their second mini-album, ‘Summer Beat!’ in June 2024 which carries the singles ‘Hey! Hey!’ abd ‘If I’m S, Can You Be My N?’.
Then in November 2024, the rookie group capped their successful debut year with their first studio album, ‘Last Bell,’ with its lead track being the song ‘Last Festival’.
