Bringing home the cash prize and the chmapionship title of the long-running reality format.
On Sunday (April 12), Kapamilya singers JM Dela Cerna and Marielle Montellano were hailed as the grand winners of Your Face Sounds Familiar Season 4 at the finale grand showdown of the hit reality competition.
The duo secured the title after earning the highest combined score of 94.0% from their previous performances in the past 12 rounds, along with the highest jury score in the grand finals.
For their final performance, they transformed into Jennifer Holliday and Jessica Sanchez and delivered a powerful rendition of And I’m Telling You, inspired by the American Idol Season 11 collaboration between the two, which earned them a strong reaction from the live audience.
As grand winners, they took home a ₱1 million cash prize.
JM and Marielle then expressed deep gratitude to the production team and the show for trusting them throughout the season to pull off challenging and iconic transformations.
In addition, they also thanked each other, highlighting their strong teamwork, effort, and mutual support from start to finish of the competition.
Throughout the season, JMielle consistently impressed both viewers and jury, emerging as three-time weekly winners and showcasing their versatility in performing and transforming into music legends.
This is now the second time that the duo won a contest of the network. In 2023, they were hailed as the first-ever grand champions of the TNT Duets special season of Tawag Ng Tanghalan on It’s Showtime.
But their win in YFSF did not come easily as the competition remained intense with other celebrity participants delivering standout grand showdown performances.
Jason Dy transformed into Beyoncé, Jarlo Base became Freddie Mercury, Alexa Ilacad performed as Shakira, Dia Mate as Rihanna, Akira Morishita as Justin Timberlake, and Rufa Mae Quinto as Katy Perry.
Each celebrity performer also received special awards in recognition of their performances throughout the season.
The grand showdown also featured a special guest performance from the original host of the franchise, Billy Crawford.
The jury panel for the finals was composed of Erik Santos, Karla Estrada, Nyoy Volante, Klarisse de Guzman, Ogie Alcasid, and Gary Valenciano.
