It is being reflected in the electronic program guide of the channel for the forthcoming weekend.
On Sunday, April 12, several televiewers and media observers shared on social media the updated programming grid of GMA’s secondary channel GTV.
In which, they were surprised to see two new programs in the line-up of the channel every Saturday evening, specifically on April 18.
As per the new programming lineup of the channel, the 8:30 pm slot will be occupied by the returning game show Kapamilya Deal Or No Deal, which will make its premiere that evening, with Luis Manzano back as host.
Right after that, reruns of the COVID-19 pandemic era community game show Everybody, Sing!, presented by It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda is set to air at 9:45 pm.
In the EPG, it was also revealed that current GTV shows will also move to new time slots effective next Saturday.
The repeats of the fantasy anthology Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko moving to 6:30 pm (from 9:45 pm), followed by the public affairs show Good News with Vicky Morales at 7:00 pm (from 9:00 pm), and the consistent top-rating show of the channel, Pinas Sarap with Kara David at 7:45 pm (from 8:15 pm).
At present, however, both GMA and ABS-CBN have not yet confirmed the broadcast of both shows on GTV.
But if it is proven to be taking place, this will mark the latest collaboration between the media giants, which have previously worked on the series Unbreak My Heart and the GTV (later, GMA) simulcast of the noontime variety program It’s Showtime.
Recently, they have also paired up for the back-to-back seasons of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition and the joint series The Secrets Of Hotel 88, featuring the stars of the first batch of the co-produced reality show.
