The actress directly addressed the matter.
On Tuesday, April 8, an eagle-eyed netizen took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their observation regarding the Instagram account of actress-filmmaker Bela Padilla.
According to the online user, Padilla unfollowed her ‘Pamilya Sagrado’ co-stars Piolo Pascual and Kyle Echarri on the social media platform.
In response, Bela quoted the post and confirmed the original tweet, and wrote, “I did!“
She then explained that it was not caused by any problem between her and the male actors, but rather a much personal move that she is taking for her IG account.
“I woke up one day and I was following around 7,000 people. So now, I’m trying to declutter by bringing my following down to zero slowly and then will follow my friends back one by one after.”
She also added that she actually talked to Kyle about doing the unfollow spree, with Bela writing, “I was just talking to Kyle about this last night.”
Meanwhile, Bela also responded to one comment below her post who expressed concern about her friendship with Piolo.
The actress-filmmaker assured them, however, that she maintains her relationship with him and that he is one of her “most-trusted people in the industry.”
