The Asia’s Multimedia Star returns to primetime this year.
On Tuesday, April 21, GMA Network unveiled the cast members of its upcoming medical series, which will be topbilled by no less than Alden Richards, who leads the star-studded cast of the project.
Joining forces with him in this drama are Christopher de Leon, Andrea Torres, Faith da Silva, Shuvee Etrata, and Allen Ansay.
Also part of the ensemble are Romnick Sarmenta, Joross Gamboa, Christian Bautista, Kristoffer Martin, and Jon Lucas.
In a report by GMA News, Alden noted that he looks forward to the series, as it will be his first time to portray a doctor.
“I’ve never done anything like that before sa career ko and it’s gonna be the first again and I’m very excited kasi it’s a very mature role,” he said. “It’s very serious, excited lang ako dun sa challenges that’s up ahead.“
At present, other details about the show are still kept under wraps, but it is confirmed to be part of the Kapuso network’s drama slate for 2026.
Code Gray will also mark his return to the GMA Prime block following the historical-fiction-action drama Pulang Araw back in 2024.
Currently, Alden is seen every Sunday night as host of the reality-dance competition Stars On The Floor Season 2. He is also confirmed to be starring alongside Nadine Lustre in the Viu original series Love, Siargao, which was announced last January.
He is also active in his personal pursuits, such as recently joining a marathon with other celebrities, such as Nico Bolzico and Wil Dasovich.
