On Wednesday, April 22, The Nation’s Mutya released her newest single entitled Love Like U. According to the description in the official lyric video, this “dreamy-infused track” is produced and composed by the award-winning Thyro Alfaro.
It talks about a “love that has been brewing for a long time,” which leads to her singing “nandiyan ka pala all this time.”
Soon after releasing the new track, Ashtine secured the number 1 spot in iTunes Philippines, as well as trended on social media platforms.
This marks Olviga’s return to music, having been a member of the groups UGG, PPop Generation, and LITZ, before eventually reaching her phenomenal fame as the lead star of the hit Viva One series Ang Mutya Ng Section E in 2025.
The 24-year-old star also recently showcased her acting prowess through the first Viva One anthology series entitled Ashtine, where she joined forces with other personalities and icons.
In which, she did a comedy episode called Who’s The Boss? with Rufa Mae Quinto; a rom-com installment, My Melody, with singer Rob Deniel and Lee Dae Won; horror through Balik Eskwela with Sara Joe and Marco Gumabao; and a dramatic showdown with Claudine Barretto in Bahay-bahayan.
