They are making their way back to the big screen soon.
On Wednesday, January 29, Project 8 Projects released the official poster for ‘Ex Ex Lovers,’ the comeback movie of Marvin Agustin and Jolina Magdangal will be hitting theaters soon.
The said image depicts a notebook cover featuring the artists, a clear nod to the popular fixture in the local pop culture scene in the late ’90s up to the mid-2000s.
According to the film studio, ‘Ex Ex Lovere’ will make its premiere on Wednesday, February 12, in time for the Valentine’s season.
In the film, Marvin and Jolina will portray the roles of estranged partners Joy and Ced, who would meet anew in Valleta, Malta for their daughter’s wedding.
Aside from the iconic love team, Loisa Andalio and Juan Karlos Labajo will also be joining them in the upcoming movie directed by JP Habac.
‘Ex Ex Lovers’ will mark the on-screen reunion of Marvin and Jolina after last starring together in the ABS-CBN afternoon series ‘Flordeliza’ back in 2015.
Since then, they have only been seen in public sporadically, such as the time when Agustin appeared as a guest in Magdangal’s morning talk show ‘Magandang Buhay’.
Some of the duo’s most notable projects include the ’90s youth-oriented show ‘Gimik’ and ‘Labs Ko Si Babe’ on ABS-CBN, as well as ‘I Luv NY’ and ‘Dear Friend’ on GMA.
