It will be his first time to lead a TV series.
Last Friday, May 22, GMA Network announced the upcoming project of Kapuso actor Will Ashley, who is currently seen in the ongoing primetime collaboration series with ABS-CBN, The Secrets Of Hotel 88.
Entitled Delivery Boi, it will see the 23-year-old portray the titular character named Boi, who, according to a report by the network, is a “street-smart delivery rider who unknowingly inspires fellow riders through quiet acts of kindness despite life’s challenges and relationship troubles.”
Confirmed to be starring alongside him in this project, which is under the direction of Dominic Zapata, are Eric Quizon, Maricar De Mesa, Meryll Soriano, and Mikoy Morales.
He also reunites with Keempee De Leon after Prinsesa Ng City Jail and Vince Maristela, whom he lived together with in the reality show Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition and co-starred in The Secrets Of Hotel 88.
GMA has yet to announce the official launch date for the new show. However, it now joins the growing pipeline that includes the likes of You Are My Favorite Song, A Million Dreams, and more.
It will also be Will’s return to the afternoon block, where he was also previously seen through projects like the top-raters Contessa and Prima Donnas.
