There will be major changes at the corporation by the end of the month.

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) on Monday, January 6, Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) announced that its board of directors approved changes in its upper management.

Foremost, RLC’s incumbent President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Lance Gokongwei will be stepping down from his position effective February 1, 2025.

This will mark the end of his term, which began in 2024, but will continue to serve the company as Chairman.

Aside from him, his sister, Robina Gokongwei-Pe will also be departing her role as Director of RLC on the same day.

Set to assume the role of President and CEO beginning February is Maria Socorro Isabelle “Mybelle” Aragon-GoBio, who has likewise been elected as Director of the company.

With her assumption of the post, GoBio is poised to become the first woman President of RLC.

“We extend our deepest gratitude to our Chairman, Lance Gokongwei, for his visionary leadership and invaluable contributions over the past year,” RLC said in its statement.

“With Mybelle Aragon-GoBio at the helm, we are poised to embark on a new era of transformative growth and innovation. Her commitment to synergy, customer-centricity, and operational excellence will undoubtedly strengthen RLC’s leadership in the real estate industry and deliver even greater value to our stakeholders,” it added.
