The ‘Nation’s Girl Group’ BINI was part of the line-up of performers for KCON LA 2024 pre-show event in Los Angeles, California.
• SB19 bags ‘Favorite Asian Act’ in Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2024 (July 17, 2024)
Filipino pop group SB19 succeeded against fellow Asian acts, led by Korean boy group Enhypen, Japanese girl group NiziU, and fellow Southeast Asian acts Iman Troye of Malaysia and Indonesian singer Tiara Andini.
Their KCA win is the second time that a Filipino act won the ‘Favorite Asian Act’ title in the KCAs, following Charice in 2012.

The Philippines was one of the stops for GOT7 member Yugyeom’s ‘Trusty’ concert tour across Asia and Australia.

‘AKNP’ made its debut on September 5, 2022 as a medical drama for Afternoon Prime. Since then, it has managed to stay on top of the TV ratings board for the block, and at times, even created all-time high records that trumped the figures registered by those of the network’s primetime dramas.
It officially ended its run on October 19, 2024.

Thai artists Lingling Sirilak Kwong and Orm Kornnaphat Sethratanapong, popularly known as the girls love (GL) pair LingOrm, held their first event in Manila last October.
