Bini to represent the Philippines in ‘KCON LA 2024’

‘The Nation’s Girl Group’ will be flying to the USA soon!

On Sunday, July 14, popular Korean pop culture convention and concert KCON revealed P-pop group Bini as part of the line-up of performers for its upcoming ‘KCON LA 2024’ show in Los Angeles, California.

In its announcement post, KCON USA shared that the eight-member team composed of  Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena, will be performing during the ‘M Countdown Preshow’ on Saturday, July 27.

Expected to perform on that same day are Korean pop groups ENHYPEN and NMIXX.

Bini recently came back with their new song ‘Cherry On Top,’ which topped several music charts and created new streaming records for the group on YouTube and Spotify.

In a ‘TV Patrol’ interview on Thursday, ABS-CBN Music Head Roxy Liquigan confirmed that ‘The Nation’s Girl Group’ is also concurrently working on two separate albums, with one being aimed at and released for the local market and the other for the international scene.

Bini is also set to hold more shows as part of their ‘Biniverse’ concert tour, such as in Cebu on Sunday, July 14; General Santos on July 20; and Canada.

They will also hold a ‘Grand Biniverse’ day on October 4, 2024 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Meanwhile, back to the ‘KCON LA 2024,’ the three-day event will run from July 26 to 28, 2024 and will also feature other K-pop acts, led by SHINee’s Taemin, Block B’s Zico, Hyolyn, NCT 127, Jeon Somi, A.C.E., Jo Yuri, STAYC, BIBI, BOYNEXTDOOR, ZEROBASEONE, and TWS.

Actors Kim Soo Hyun and Park Min Young are also confirmed to be appearing during the course of the event.
