On Saturday, July 13 (US time), while speaking at his rally in Pennsylvania, USA, former President Donald Trump was hurt after a series of gunshots erupted in the middle of his speech.
Footages of the said campaign rally see Trump suddenly holding onto his right ear, before ducking a few moments later as more shots emanated from afar.
After taking down the shooter, the 45th POTUS’s security detail then immediately covered him and rushed him off stage.
Media reports state that authorities identified the attacker as an armed man with rifle gun who had positioned and fired it from a rooftop of a nearby within the vicinity of the rally’s area.
Two people have been confirmed dead in the incident: the shooter and one attendee of the Republican sortie.

“There’s no place in America for this kind of violence,” Biden was quoted saying in his address the nation.
He also expressed well wishes to Trump, who had been reported to have sustained minor injuries as a result of the shooting.
Biden’s team will also pull its campaign ads and is understood to be shifting their focus on condemning the assassination attempt.

Philippine President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos has also extended his “thoughts and prayers” to Donald Trump and his family.
“It is with great relief that we receive the news that former President Donald Trump is fine and well after the attempt to assasinate him. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.”
“Together with all democracy loving peoples around the world, we condemn all forms of political violence. The voice of the people must always remain supreme,” Marcos added.
