He joins the likes of Jungkook, Mingyu, and Cha Eunwoo.
Last Friday, December 13, Korean pop idol Son Mingi of the group ATEEZ was revealed as the newest ambassador of international clothing brand Calvin Klein.
In his official Instagram account, the star shared some of his photos for the Holiday campaign of CK. So far, the gallery has garnered over 650,000 likes in the platform.
In the official social media account of Calvin Klein, it shared that Mingi is wearing “a new take on the Iconic Modern Trunk.”
The ATEEZ member’s ambassadorship comes after the same brand tapped the likes of BTS member Jungkook, SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu, and ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo to become faces of their past campaigns.
Mingi, along with rest of ATEEZ, debuted in 2018 under the South Korean music label KQ Entertainment.
Over the years, they have dropped multiple albums and extended plays, such as ‘Say My Name,’ ‘Illusion,’ ‘Wave,’ ‘Answer,’ ‘Inception,’ ‘Guerilla,’ and ‘Bouncy.’
In late 2023, they landed their first No. 1 placement in the Billboard 200 chart for ‘The World EP.Fin: Will’ that carries the song ‘Crazy Form.’
They also successfully climbed to the top of the same music chart upon the release of ‘Golden Hour: Part 1,’ which carries the lead single ‘Work.’
2024 also proves to be historic for the team, as they became the first K-pop boy band to perform at the Coachella music festival in the USA last April.
Last November, they made their comeback with ‘Golden Hour: Part 2,’ which carries the lead track titled ‘Ice On My Teeth.’
