With sprint stars Jasper Philipsen and Biniam Girmay, the first riders announced for the 2026 edition.
The Tour de France EFGH Singapore Criterium will return on November 7 and 8 2026 and will be supported by the Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO) and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB).
Currently, the 2026 criterium remains the only Tour de France-affiliated event held in Southeast Asia, which offers cycling fans in Singapore and the region rare access to elite international cycling and world-class riders.
The 2026 programme will be anchored by the return of the Tour de France Singapore Criterium Pro Race and the Tour de France Singapore Criterium: À l’Attaque.
It has been designed to bring the experience of elite racing closer to the public, which gives riders in Singapore and across the region the rare opportunity to compete on an official criterium circuit under race conditions typically reserved for professionals.
The format will also see the return of its core categories — Men’s, Women’s and Foldies.
Following strong demand, the Men’s category will be expanded into three segments to broaden participation across different age groups — Under-19, Open Competitive (19–34), and Masters (35 and above).
A new feature for this year is the introduction of the Team Time Trial, a high-speed, coordinated race where teams of four riders work together to clock the fastest time, which adds a dynamic and strategic edge to the programme.
This will be complemented by family-friendly activities, including the TDF SG Community Ride for recreational cyclists.
Notably, the 2026 edition is set to reignite one of cycling’s most exciting rivalries. Sprint stars Jasper Philipsen and Biniam Girmay are expected to return to Singapore for another high-intensity showdown.
The criterium will once again take place on a city-centre circuit right at the heart of Singapore’s city center — weaving through the Padang, Anderson Bridge and Esplanade, Theatres on the Bay cycling to the heart of Singapore.
A festival village will also be located at the Singapore Recreation Club, serving as the central hub for spectators across the race weekend, with viewing areas, food and beverage offerings, and a range of fan-focused activities throughout the programme.
EFGH SIGNS THREE-YEAR TITLE SPONSORSHIP
Meanwhile, the Embed Financial Group Holdings (EFGH) has also beem confirmed as title sponsor for the next three consecutive editions of the Tour de France Singapore Criterium — with the company noting it to be a long-term commitment to both the event’s growth and the development of Singapore’s sporting ecosystem.
Moreover, the agreement marks a significant private-sector commitment to Singapore’s sporting calendar and reinforces growing corporate support for major international events hosted in the city.
The Singapore-headquartered financial infrastructure group was also recently announced as the naming partner for national championships at the 2026 BYD Singapore International Marathon presented by adidas.

As for Christian Prudhomme, Director of the Tour de France, he told: “The Tour de France Singapore Criterium continues to play an important role in bringing the spirit and spectacle of the Tour de France to audiences in Southeast Asia.”
“Singapore has established itself as a strong and credible host for world-class cycling, while creating new opportunities for fans in the region to engage with the sport up close,” he furthered.
Prudhomme also stated that their group has been encouraged by the efforts to bring the Tour de France through imitatives like the Singapore Criterium.
“We are encouraged by the continued efforts to grow the Tour de France experience in Singapore, not only through the elite race itself, but also through initiatives such as Tour de France Singapore Criterium: À l’Attaque, which reflects the inclusive and community spirit that has always been part of the Tour de France,” he said.
“We are pleased to see the event continue to grow through this renewed long-term partnership with EFGH and look forward to building on that momentum in 2026.”
Meanwhile, Agnes Goh, Managing Director of Evoke Exp, said: “EFGH’s continued commitment provides a strong foundation to build on the momentum of recent editions and continue evolving the Tour de France EFGH Singapore Criterium experience.“
She also give some details regarding the upcoming 2026 Singapore Criterium and disclosed that the focus is on “expanding the ways fans engage with the event across the entire race weekend,” ranging from participation on the course, to new formats and touchpoints that bring audiences closer to the sport in different and more interactive ways.
“This allows us to continue broadening the experience for both participants and spectators, and to further develop how the event is experienced in Singapore and across the region,” said Goh.
The event also aims to be onsistent platform that connects Singapore to the global cycling community, while contributing to the city’s growing reputation as a host of world-class sporting events.
