They are among the global artists to join as anime-fan presenters, which was shaped by anime’s influence on culture and creativity worldwide.
Streaming platform Crunchyroll has announced the new lineup of celebrity presenters who are headed to the tenth annual Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Tokyo, which honors the creators, musicians, and performances powering the global love of anime.
The Crunchyroll Anime Awards will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, with the live ceremony hosted by popular entertainer Jon Kabira and renowned voice actress Sally Amaki.
Joining the slate of presenters is BamBam, the Thai-born rapper of K-pop group GOT7 and who has been actively expanding his career as a solo artist since 2021.
Another Thai singer and dancer, TEN, who is a member of the K-pop group NCT and its China-based unit WayV is also part of the lineup.
Also announced as part of the group is Ethan Bortnick, the contemporary musician, pianist and songwriter blending classical roots with a modern sound and behind singles like cut my fingers off and engravings, which have earned over 135 million Spotify streams.
Capping that list is GRAMMY-nominated recording artist Young Miko, who hails from Puerto Rico and has over 20 million monthly listeners on Spotify and more than 21 million followers across social media.
Also confirmed to be part of the star-studded event are Asuka Saito, RZA, Rashmika Mandanna, The Weeknd, Winston Duke, and more.
The event will begin with the Orange Carpet Pre-Show at 5:00 pm JST (4:00 pm, PHT) and the main show ceremony commences at 6:00 pm JST (5:00 pm, PHT).
The livestream will be available for global tune-in on Crunchyroll’s Twitch, TikTok, and YouTube channels. It will also be on the Global and Japanese Sony Group Corp YouTube Channels.
Additionally, the 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards will be available in nine (9) languages, including English, Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Italian, and Latin Spanish.
