The community singing game show is back after two years.
This Saturday and Sunday (May 2 and 3), the original ABS-CBN gane show Everybody, Sing! will make its comeback.
Still hosted by the Asia’s Unkabogable Superstar, Vice Ganda, the program will continue with new sets of Songbayanans who will work together to win prizes in the show.
To add spice and excitement, each week, there will be a special guest co-host who will join Vice Ganda, alongside a lineup of celebrity guests and singers, as well as resident band, Six Part Invention.
Regarding the gameplay, a new segment will also be added. Called Singko Blanko, the celebrity guest and four represingtatives must correctly guess five missing lyrics of a song for a chance to win up to PHP 200,000.
Meanwhile, in the jackpot round, the Ultimate Everybody Guessing, the Songbayanan must correctly guess all 10 song titles to win the PHP 1 million jackpot prizez with each correct answer is equivalent to PHP 20,000 and the tenth correct answer enabling them to bag the grand prize.
Any amount won after the jackpot round will be shared equally among the Songbayanan.
Everybody, Sing! was first aired in 2021 amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally, it was slated to make its premiere in March 2020, but it was pushed back following the imposition of lockdowns and the ensuing shutdown of ABS-CBN’s terrestrial network.
In the original format, 100 Songbayanan or players are to participate, with 10 of them playing at a time in each round.
By the end of these rounds, they will work together to bring home the jackpot prize, which is worth PHP 2 million that will be divided equally amongst them.
The show has gotten recognitions abroad, including the being the national winner for Best Music/Dance Program in the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2021 and winner of the Best Asian Original Game Show at the 2023 ContentAsia Awards.
The new season of Everybody, Sing will air every Saturday and Sunday at 8:30 pm on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, iWant, and Kapamilya Online Live on the ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channel.
