She is now entering a new chapter in her life.
In a post on her Instagram account on Sunday, April 19, Filipina-Italian beauty queen Celeste Cortesi announced a major life milestone.
The 28-year-old, who previously won the title Miss Universe Philippines 2022 and represented the country in the 70th edition held in the USA the following year, is now an expectant mother.
This, as she shared an image of her growing baby bump and her sonogram, which confirms her pregnancy.
In the caption, she wrote: “To love someone in the most selfless way.”
This has since garnered congratulatory messages from her fellow beauty queens and celebrity friends, which include Kylie Versoza, Vicky Belo, Kyline Alcantara, Raymond Gutierrez, Chie Filomeno, Gwen Zamora, Beatrice Luigi Gomez, Chelsea Manalo, Hannah Arnold, Samantha Bernardo, Antonnia Porsild, and Maureen Wroblewitz, among others.
As per a report by the Inquirer, Cortesi confirmed that the father of the child is her British beau Jonathan Sterling.
Prior to joining Miss Universe Philippines, she also had a stint in the Miss Earth pageant, having been crowned the national titleholder for the Philippines in 2018. She went on to land a spot in the Top 8 of the said competition that year.
