To celebrate its 10th anniversary in the Philippines, streaming giant Netflix held its first Next On Netflix event in the country to showcase the local programs and formats that will debut on the platform in 2026.

Among the titles confirmed this year is the upcoming ABS-CBN series Someone, Someday, which will star the powerhouse trio of Kathryn Bernardo, James Reid, and Maja Salvador—all of whom are making their respective teleserye comebacks after 4, 9, and 3 years through this series.

The program, which is under the production of Dreamscape Entertainment, is under the direction of Chad Vidanes and Dolly Dulu.

According to Netflix, the story will follow a woman scarred by her past who creates a modern dating app to help women find the right love at the right time.

Through the love stories she brings together — and while navigating the challenges in her own life — she begins to rediscover what love truly means for herself,” it added.

Aside from the three, also announced as part of the cast of Someone, Someday are Dimples Romana, Rowell Santiago, Karylle, Daniela Stranner, McCoy de Leon, Matt Evans, Miggy Jimenez, Gela Atayde, Kat Galang, and more.

Netflix confirmed that the drama will stream three days ahead of their free and cable TV broadcast, a long-standing model that began a few years back.

It began with Bernardo’s past series 2 Good 2 Be True, followed by Can’t Buy Me Love, Lavender Fields, It’s Okay To Not Be Okay, What Lies Beneath, and Roja.

At present, the official premiere date for Someone, Someday has yet to be determined.
