A new look for their digital hub.
On Sunday, February 8, GMA Network officially rolled out its revamped mobile application, which was formerly known by the namesake parent company and station.
Effective on the said date, the video streaming app has embraced a new look and name as GMA Play, which promises to bring Kapuso content closer to viewers across devices, where they can be entertained and informed, as well as revisit old-time GMA hits anytime, anywhere.
The program library includes drama, romance, comedy, fantasy, news and documentaries, Asianovelas, a diverse selection of local and foreign movies, among other content.
“Designed for today’s fast-paced, mobile-centric lifestyle, GMA Play offers entertainment experiences curated to evolving viewing habits,” said the network about the newly revamped app.
Current users of the GMA Network app will only need to simply update the existing app to access GMA Play. No separate download is required.
It can be accessed via smartphones, via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for Android users. It is also accessible via web browser and on Smart TVs with Google TV.
“With digital platforms constantly transforming viewing habits and content preferences, GMA Network further underscores its commitment to innovation and storytelling that resonates across global audiences through GMA Play,” the network added on its revitalized digital service.
Aside from GMA Play, viewers can also access programs through other platforms like Facebook and YouTube, where the Kapuso Stream livestreaming service is both available.
