Receiving overwhelming support from her fans.
In a post on her Instagram account last Thursday, January 29, Kapamilya actress-host Kim Chiu shared that her “closet bazaar,” which was supposed to run until Sunday, had to wrap up early.
Primarily due to the items having been sold out in less than two days—a day and a half, to be exact.
In an Instagram post, the 35-year-old superstar shared her gratitude to everyone who went to support her in this venture, the proceeds of which will go to a charity.
“It is a 3-way happiness indeed,” she opened her post. “Extremely grateful for the overwhelming love and support. What was supposed to be 5 days turned into just 1½ days-and honestly, I am still in awe.“
She continued, “Maraming salamat sa oras na ibinigay ninyo-sa mahabang pila, yung iba na half time sa work or nag absent and to those who flew in, drove for hours from the province, just to be here. Sobrang nakakataba po ng puso. I am truly overwhelmed in the best way.”
Kim also explained why is it a “three-way” happiness, telling it is not just for her, the customers, but also for their chosen charity.
She then gave a shoutout to everyone who had helped her in the bazaar, including her fellow It’s Showtime hosts Ryan Bang for the space and Vice Ganda, who helped by lending additional clothes racks.
In the final part of her post, she wrote: “To everyone who bought, supported, lined up, and shared this moment with me—thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Mahal na mahal ko kayo. My Chinita Princess heart is extremely happy!!! please take care of my #ootdksyc.”
Kim is fresh from the success of her mystery-drama series The Alibi with Paulo Avelino, which completed the release of its 14-episode version that streamed exclusively on Prime Video last December.
She is also seen in the daily noontime show It’s Showtime and the weekly musical-variety program ASAP.
