The comedy film is now available in select theaters nationwide.
On Wednesday, December 10, the limited run of the Korean movie The First Ride began in a number of Robinsons Movieworld locations across the country.
The South Korean adventure comedy project stars Kang Ha-neul, Kim Young-kwang, Cha Eunwoo, Kang Young-seok, and Han Sun-hwa.
Under the direction of Nam Dae-joong, the story follows the longtime friends—Tae-jung (Kang Ha-neul), Do-jin (Kim Young-kwang), Yeon-min (Cha Eunwoo), Geum-bok (Kang Young-seok)— who decide to finally go on an overseas trip they have always dreamed of achieving.
Meanwhile, Ok-Sim (Han Sun-Hwa) is described to be a “person of action,” who always achieves when she decides to do something.
What starts out as a fun trip to Thailand turns into a chaotic storm of mistakes, hidden truths, and raw emotional confrontations.
Other cast members include Kang Ji-young, Han Jae-young, Lim Chul-hyung, and Kim Gang-hyun.
The movie is also notably Cha Eunwoo’s first leading role in a movie and is one of the prerecorded projects he has prior to enlisting in the military last July.
The First Ride is now showing in select branches of the mall chain, including Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Manila, Robinsons Magnolia, and Opus among others.
