After her recent image sparked conversations in an online forum.
In a post on her account on X, formerly Twitter, on Saturday, December 6, Kapuso actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith personally addressed circulating rumors about her on the internet.
She particularly answered one that came out from the online forum site Reddit, where users alleged that she underwent cosmetic surgery.
In response, the 31-year-old actress wrote, “I’ve seen the Reddit rumor and comments. No I haven’t gotten anything done to my face.“
She then explained that she gained weight following her recent overseas trip to Australia, while her face was because of her “crying on and off” in the days before the picture was taken.
“I have gained 6kgs from my recent trip to Australia and have been crying on and off for a few days. Hope this settles and cures your curiosities,” she added.
Jasmine then criticized the comments that she received, telling, “I gain a little and apparently I got botched work done, I lose a little and I’ve got an eating problem. Not trying to win over anyone but it’s bothersome to read the comments.“
The actress is part of the cast of the upcoming 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry Manila’s Finest, starring alongside Piolo Pascual, Enrique Gil, and Rica Peralejo, among many others.
