The band is revving up for their launch at the start of the year.
In a poster uploaded on its social media pages, upcoming K-pop group ALPHA DRIVE ONE (ALD1) shared the first detail regarding their nearing debut under the Korean music label WAKEONE Entertainment.
The eight-member team, comprising of Lee Sang Won, Zhou An Xin, He Xin Long, Kim Geon Woo, Zhang Jia Hao, Lee Leo, Chung Sang Hyeon, and Kim Jun Seo, will be officially launched on January 12, 2026.
Prior to that, however, the group made their appearance at the recent 2025 MAMA Awards in Hong Kong, where they performed their pre-debut single entitled Formula.
The performance video for the said track had since been released last Wednesday, December 3.
ALPHA DRIVE ONE was formed through the hit survival-reality show Boys II Planet, which aired on South Korean TV channel Mnet from July to September 2025.
The program is the sequel to Boys Planet, which aired in 2023 and led to the formation of ALD1’s senior group, ZEROBASEONE, who are also currently managed by WAKEONE.
Recently, it was confirmed that ZB1 members have agreed to extend their contracts for two more months, which could also mean that the both teams might have their promotions run concurrent to each other.
