On Friday, June 20, the one-night-only ‘Ang Mutya Ng Section E OST Live in Concert’ was staged at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
Featured acts during the night were multiple acts, led by Rob Deniel, Amiel Sol, Earl Agustin, and the new P-pop group GAT—which is composed of ‘AMNSE’ cast members Ethan David, Charles Law, Derick Ong, and Michael Keith.
During the night, the singers serenaded the audience with their memorable songs that were used in the series, such as Deniel’s ‘Miss Miss,’ Sol’s ‘Bawat Sandali,’ Agustin’s ‘Tibok,’ GAT’s take on ‘Daleng-dale’.
Lead stars Ashtine Olviga, who played Jay-jay Mariano, and Rabin Angeles, the actor behind Yuri Hanamichi, as well as their cast mates Angela Muji, Rafa Victorino, Jastine Lim, and Sara Joe were all part of the line-up of performers.
The sold-out show comes after the two-night ‘Ang Mutya Ng Section E’ meet-and-greet event in May, which also took place at the same venue.
‘AMNSE’ is the 16-episode live action adaptation of the Wattpad novel created by Lara Flores and was streamed exclusively on the Viva One app from January to April 2025 to much fanfare.
After which, TV5 picked up the mini-series for a primetime free-to-air television run every weeknight at 6:45 pm.
Meanwhile, a second season for ‘Ang Mutya Ng Section E’ had also been confirmed by Studio Viva and Viva One, with the planned premiere date yet to be revealed.
